I was just thinking about all of our lifelong family pets. Their spirits, actually, on Halloween night. We had a Smokey too.
What a relief it is, after the crazy week I've had, to come to your site, Kat. First, I see your beautiful face. That by itself lifts my spirits a million times. But then, I get to read a Blast From The Past, which I enjoy so much.
I can imagine you in nursery school. I bet you were so cute when you play acted. I loved reading about all of your pets. Smoky, Tammy, Sam and Misty are great pet names.
We also had a cat who went into heat even after she was fixed. She never got pregnant, but it was weird. Now I'm thinking about all of those pets I have loved over the years. I love how your trips to the past also take me to my own memories. Thanks so much for another lovely read.
These blasts from the past are good. Having found your blog quite recently it is great fun going back and looking at some older stuff. I had a turtle once .... but that's another story.

Hi Kat! Mom's dog Hunter haunted the house for a few months after he passed on. Spooky but true! I'm still accessing from a library PC so have no access to my Facebook page. Will answer that when I can. Don't know if you were aware that I had a major PC crash a month ago!

Subby! Yes! I saw that you had major PC problems. That's such a nuisance, isn't it? I've done the library/coffee shop access bit and it's a pain.
I hope you can get it all resolved.
Hope you're coping okay with your caregiving responsiblities. I know what that's like too.

Thanks, Karen. I contacted Hot Bliggity Blogs and they were having server issues. They gave me the new code and I repaired this one. I'm waiting on code for my other two.

Oh great pets We had a little water turtle as well and also budgies. We had a dog and hamsters too. These days we have two cats (and four chickens) although the latter don't count as pets
